The Lookout Bequia

Walking & hiking on Bequia

First-hand routes through the hills, headlands and quieter coast.

Back to the resource hub

There is another Bequia beyond the beach. Trails cross green hills and headlands, revealing the harbour, neighbouring islands and wilder shoreline. Wear sturdy footwear, take plenty of water & sun protection, and don’t forget spending money for a rewarding lunch or drink after your hike.

Ma Peggy

Also known as Peggy’s Rock, this climb is a favourite for its view across Bequia and along the Grenadines. This is a fairly strenuous hike, but it’s also extremely rewarding. Speak to Chris and Lou for detailed directions, or ask if they have time to guide you safely up & down.

Bullet Point and Bequia Head

The northern coast offers a different, less visited perspective and a view towards St Vincent. The terrain can be exposed, so local route advice is worthwhile.

Spring Top and St Hilaire Point

These walks mix hillside, coast and island viewpoints. Your hosts can explain the current paths and the level of effort before you decide.

Hope and Ravine Bay

These windward beaches reward those who like quieter, rougher scenery. Expect more demanding paths and take care around waves, rocks and steep sections.

Walk with Chris and Lou

We think the best way to truly understand Bequia’s beauty is to slow down. Take a stroll, a walk, a hike, and ramble off-road. Get out into the countryside, climb a jungle-clad mountain, or discover beautiful & remote beaches. When available, Chris and Lou offer complimentary guided walks for their guests. A donation to a Bequia charity is appreciated. Ask which walk matches your fitness, the weather, and your plans
