We first came to Bequia in 2015, after travels that had taken us to more than 50 countries and many other Caribbean islands. Something about this little island stayed with us: its beaches and green hills, of course, but especially its people and sense of community. We made the move from the UK in 2017 and have called Bequia home ever since.
Turning The Lookout into a place to welcome guests took more than a year of work on the property and gardens. We opened the doors to our first visitors in January 2019. Since then, one of our greatest pleasures has been seeing people discover Bequia for themselves, whether it is their first Caribbean trip or the island they return to again and again.

A welcome that feels personal
Living here has given us the chance to get to know the beaches, walks, restaurants, boat trips and people behind the places we recommend. We are happy to help you plan a transfer, find a taxi, arrange an activity or choose a walk that suits your day. If you would rather arrive, take a deep breath and do very little, we understand that too.
We appreciate that our guests have travelled far & wide to reach paradise. Perhaps the last thing you want to do is head out to the store. Therefore, we provide a generous & complimentary welcome pack with all the grocery essentials, including homemade bread, eggs, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, butter, jam, fresh fruit, plus tempting tipples for sundowners on the deck!
