Explore Hummingbird DeckWinter: 1 December–30 April; summer: 1 May–30 November. A 10% discount applies for one or two guests using one bedroom. Minimum stay is one week, or ten days over Christmas/New Year and Easter. Extra days beyond a week are charged pro rata from the weekly rate. Add 5% to rates for stays from 1 December 2027. Chris and Lou confirm the final price before booking.

Before you book
The Lookout is on a hillside with steps and a short, steep driveway. The apartments welcome guests over 12. This is a strictly non-smoking property. Please read the terms below before making travel arrangements. If the setting or your dates raise a question, ask Chris and Lou for an honest answer

Upon booking and completion of the booking form, we will issue an invoice for a 50% deposit to secure your stay at The Lookout. Once this is processed you can relax and plan your stay on this wonderful island. The balance of 50% will be invoiced and taken 12 weeks prior to arrival. Full payment will be required for bookings made within 12 weeks of arrival.
Details of payment options for both deposit and balance will be provided to you at the time of booking. Full terms and conditions will be provided prior to your booking being finalised.
There may be an additional charge of US$500 which will be held as a security/damage deposit payment. If all is okay upon check-out, this will be refunded to guests.
Cancellation policy
We are a small business with just two apartments and the Bequia season is short. For these reasons, any payments made to us are non-refundable.
Should you need to cancel your booking with us, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. We will open up your dates on our availability calendars and every effort will be made to rebook the property for some or all of your dates.
For cancellations eight or more weeks prior to your arrival date: If the cancelled dates are filled with alternative guests, we will offer you a credit note valid for new travel dates up to 12 months after your original arrival date, subject to availability and any difference in price. If the cancelled dates are not filled with alternative guests, there is no entitlement to a credit note.
For cancellations less than eight weeks prior to your arrival date: No credit notes will be given.
We strongly recommend that all guests take out adequate holiday, personal, injury, medical and cancellation insurance at the time of booking. If you choose not to, you accept responsibility for any loss you may incur due to your cancellation.
